Job Description:
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene & cleanliness and health and safety. Schedule general cleaning of every department & floor at least once a week.
  • Overseeing the order and cleanliness of the dining area to avoid health and safety violations that could involve the restaurant in a lawsuit or penalty.
  • Maintaining ambiance by controlling lighting, laundry service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Ensure smooth opening & closing of floor. All the activities of opening & closing shall be performed daily without missing anything.
  • Supervising the entire operation of the floor during scheduled shifts and preparing shift closing reports.
  • Conduct accurate electric & gas meter reading on daily scheduled basis.
  • Ensuring that all employees act in accordance with the rules & regulations of the FOODS INN and if anyone is found in breach of those rules & regulations, appropriate disciplinary action is taken.
  • Responding to guest complaints by solving and investigating problems of guest(s) when a guest complains about the food or service.
  • Call guests who have reported any complaint through any medium.
  • Performing inventory count of all items including crockery, cutlery and furniture & fixtures every 15 days.
  • Coordinating with the kitchen to ensure efficient service.
  • Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
  • Control Discounts and sign all the item cancellation slips.
  • Ensure Dining service is up to the mark as per industry practices and guest expectations.
  • Ensure 100% feedback on Feedo of all dining orders.
  • Promote culture of verbal feedback with the guests.
  • Promote culture of Training & Briefing. All the Employees should have proper knowledge of our menu and service standards.
  • Rotate all the dining staff including supervisors, servers, waiters and cashiers on all floors so that everyone remains flexible and ready to go whenever and wherever needed.
  • Announce Employee of the month award every month after voting of all management.
  • Conduct cold drink & dessert inventory on daily basis and ensure that variances are charged at the same time.
