• Analyze financial data
• Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making
• Develop financial plans and reports for organizational leaders
• Analyze industry trends and making recommendations based on those trends
• Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation
• Develop automated reporting and forecasting for more efficient use of data
• Develop strategies to cut down costs and maximize profits
• Study Financial statements in detail, digging deeper into ownership structure
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
• Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
• Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects)
• Work with data analysis team for support related to financial analysis projects
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Review complexed financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures for efficient workflow and conformity with accounting principles
• Gather and compiling information on processes, organizational structure, computer technology, policies, and procedures
• Analyze and reviewing proposals for any system related to financial accounting methods, policies, and procedures; recommending improvements
• Analyze system design alternatives and identifying potential improvements to existing systems and processes
• Manage or facilitating the procurement, development, and implementation of qualified systems
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders

Skills:

• Experience with ORACLE is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills
• Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle sensitive data and multi-task so that deadlines can be met
• Excellent verbal and written skills
