One of our international from the IT industry is looking for a Director Finance

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

• Month and end-year process
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Cash receipts
• General ledger
• Bank reconciliations
• Payroll and utilities
• Treasury, budgeting
• Cash forecasting
• Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Capital assets reconciliations.
• Trust account statement reconciliations,
• Check runs.
• Fixed asset activity
• Debt activity

2. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

3. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

4. Coordinate and complete annual audits.

5. Provide recommendations.

6. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

7. Meet financial accounting objectives.

8. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Requirements and skills

1.  Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
2.  Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
3.  Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
4.  Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
5.  High attention to detail and accuracy
6.  Ability to direct and supervise
7. Excellent spoken and written English.
8. Experience with designing foolproof financial system from scratch.
9. Design and implement financial business rules.
10. QuickBooks experience is required.
11. Work closely with the CEO and COO of the company to setup financial policies and procedures.
12. Think through problems and recommend effective solutions.
13. Strong analytical skills.
14. Design and implement procurement, change order, invoicing and billing system.
15. Strategic thinker.
