Job Description:

Position holder will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing, business development and services development programs, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates;

  • Conducting market analysis, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for CRI Group 
  • Planning and overseeing advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail; Coordinate media interest in the Organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests. 
  • Attending and organizing the business development events in the Pakistan regions to promote the business in the way of seminars / roundtables;  
  • Analyzing industry information and formulate effective strategies to coincide with sales and business development to achieve CRI Group growth objectives;
  • Liaising very closely with the various internal departments to ensure all client requirements are met and exceeded where possible; 
  • Developing and recommending services positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share; Coordinate the appearance of all Organization print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc. Develop, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist chapters in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities.
  • Ensure articulation of Organization’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external throughout all services lines, promotional materials, and events;
  • Directing market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals; 
  • Representing CRI and/or the CRI Group at trade association meetings to promote services; 
  • Event planning, design and production within the given time limits
  • Negotiate space contracts or book event space
  • Organizing facilities and details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitees, special guests, equipment and promotional material etc. in a close coordination with business development and marketing team.
  • Arrange food and beverage, order supplies, equipment, and signage, and confirm suitable décor to meet brand expectations
  • Conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities
  • Craft and review room layouts for each event
  • Suggest fresh ideas to make the event planning and implementation process better
  • Work as a link to vendors on issues relating to an event
  • Design and implement strategy to publicize events and promote sponsorships via working with media and marketing team to organize press events and ensure messaging is timed and released promptly to effectively promote events
  • Create registration lists, registration cards, certificates, shields, company brochures, note books, pens, gift bags etc. in a close coordination with marketing team.
  • Promote conferences by performing tasks such as meeting with professional and trade associations, and producing brochures and other publications
  • Develop event topics and choose featured speakers in coordination with BD team
  • Welcome guests and customers by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Prepare budgets and provide periodic progress reports to management for each event project
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors (in coordination with admin team) for quotations as per company’s requirement.
  • Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting in coordination with Finance department.
  • Provide effective coordination to event schedules and appointments on the calendar
  • Ensure event activities (including before and after event) are properly documented for effective internal and external communication drive
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved upon
  • Maintain a database of delegates and speakers of every event. 
  • Follow event activities to ensure established laws and regulations are strictly followed and participants satisfied; also ensure any problem that may arise is quickly resolved
  • Read trade publications, consult with other professionals, and attend seminars to keep abreast of standards and trends in the industry.
  • Develop and manage sponsorship program throughout the year in order to ensure our presence in local/international events.
