| Job Description: |
The Loan Officer Assistant’s primary role is to act as a liaison between Loan Officer, borrowers and operation departments. Assist with ensuring clear communication for a smooth closing transaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers in preparing loan packages, including gathering borrower financial information, ordering credit reports, appraisals, and title commitments, and coordinating loan closing with borrowers, real estate professionals and settlement agents.
- Answer phone calls and emails, respond to customer inquiries or concerns, and route correspondence to the appropriate party for resolution.
- Assist in the management of the loan process, including tracking loan status, reviewing loan documentation, and following up on missing or incomplete information.
- Order and track loan-related documents and reports, such as property inspections and title reports.
- Communicate with borrowers, real estate professionals, and settlement agents in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Perform administrative tasks as requested, including filing, producing and distributing reports, scheduling meetings
Performs other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
- 3–5 years in mortgage roles (Loan Processor, LOA, or Loan Officer).
- 2–5 years CRM experience (Shape, Salesforce, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Arive (LOS), DU/LP (AUS), and digital docs tools
- Strong understanding of loan structuring, underwriting, and investor guidelines. Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi is a plus (with strong written English skills).

Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
