Job Description:

The Manager of Nursing Education Services provides strategic and operational leadership to the nursing education department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, accreditation standards, and quality improvement initiatives. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that enhance clinical competence, promote professional growth, and ensure evidence-based nursing practice. The Nursing Education Services Manager serves as a key liaison between nursing leadership and education.  


Key Responsibilities:


Startegic Leadership and Planning



  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Nursing Education Services department in alignment with hospital objectives and Magnet framework.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of education programs that strengthen clinical excellence and professional development.

  • Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and institutional quality standards.

  • Analyze educational outcomes and performance metrics to guide decision-making and resource allocation.


Educational Program Oversight



  • Supervise and support nursing education services instructors and educators in curriculum design, teaching methods, and evaluation processes.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality continuing nursing education (CNE), orientation programs, and competency assessments.

  • Oversee development of simulation-based learning, workshops, and leadership development programs for nurses.

  • Nurture a learning culture that promotes innovation, mentorship, and evidence-based practice.


Clinical and Professional Excellence



  • Maintain advanced clinical knowledge and promote integration of evidence-based practices across departments.

  • Collaborate with nursing and medical leadership to identify clinical learning needs and design targeted interventions.

  • Support initiatives that improve patient outcomes, safety, and staff engagement.

  • Promote the role of education in achieving clinical excellence and patient-centered care.


Leadership and Collaboration



  • Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and professional guidance to educators and staff.

  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with clinical departments, HR, and quality teams.

  • Represent the department in leadership committees, audits, and accreditation reviews.

  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to build trust, engagement, and accountability.


Administrative and Operational Management



  • Manage departmental budget, staffing, and resource allocation efficiently.

  • Oversee scheduling, documentation, and reporting of educational activities.

  • Ensure timely submission of reports, statistics, and evaluations for management review.

  • Lead departmental audits, accreditation documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.


Professional Development and Research



  • Encourage continuous professional development and certification among staff.

  • Support research, innovation, and scholarly activities within nursing education.

  • Participate in conferences, publications, and collaborative academic projects.


Qualifications:


Education:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Master degree in Nursing is preferred.

  • Additional certification in Leadership, Nursing Education, or Quality Management will be an advantage.


Experience:



  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in nursing education, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a hospital or academic setting.

  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, staff training, and educational program management is highly desirable.

The total built-up area of all facilities developed will be in excess of 590,000 square feet -- Novacare, once fully staffed and ramped up, will employ over 1,600 team members, including ~170 consulting physicians, ~600 nurses, and ~300 allied health professionals. The total investment across the facilities is expected to be in excess of PKR 35 bn.
