Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Process Optimization

• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies that align with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.

• Continuously evaluate and optimize core business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery across all administrative functions.

• Identify key operational metrics (KPIs) and establish systems for monitoring and reporting performance against organizational targets.

2. Management of Support Services

• Oversee and lead multiple essential administrative departments, which may include Facilities Management, IT Services, Security, Transport, Procurement, and General Administration.

• Ensure all support services meet high standards of quality, reliability, and responsiveness for all staff, students, and stakeholders.

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to outsourced operational services.

3. Financial Oversight and Budgeting

• Manage and control the operational budget, ensuring all departments operate within allocated financial resources.

• Approve major operational expenditures and procurement requests, ensuring transparency and cost-effectiveness.

• Implement effective inventory and asset management controls.

4. Leadership, Compliance, and Risk Management

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to direct reports and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Ensure all operational activities comply with local laws, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies.

• Develop and manage risk mitigation plans for critical operational areas, including safety, security, and business continuity.
